I am GINNI DHANALAKSHMI. I am from Gosam Village, Ranasthalam Mandal of Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh.

I have two sisters. My father and mother are daily wage labours in Vijayawada. They earn 5,000/- per month which is insufficient to maintain a family of five.

With an intention to support my parents, I decided to take up a job after completing my graduation. I was under job trials and during this time, I came to know about the training provided by SEEDAP in Retail Sector by Jobs Resource Person.

I was told that it is a job guarantee programme. So, without giving a second thought I immediately joined the training programme. During the course, I learned about the retail store operations along with computers, Communicative English and Soft Skills.

After successful completion of training, I was placed at LALITHA JEWELLEY MART PVT.LTD. Visakhapatnam as a CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE with a salary of Rs: 13,000/- per month. Now I am able to send 6,000/- per month to my parents to support my family.

I am very much thankful to SEEDAP for making my dream come true.

I am Kona Jayavanth Reddy from R.S. Kondapuram Village, Mandal ofY.S.R. Kadapa district. Being born in poor farmers’ family, I could only complete my school education.

Another misfortune that discouraged me to study further was my disability.I was just roaming aimlessly with no goals set for life. Being in a job would be good but then who would give me a job? This is when I met the Job Resource Person of SEEDAP who gave me enough motivation to come out of my inactive world. I was given a thorough counseling in SRTP Training Centre, about the training objectives and the placement opportunities that I might get in future.

During the training, I started dreaming of a new life. I learnt English, skills required to work in the retail industry and basic computer literacy.

After successful completion of the training, I was placed in The Chennai Silks, Chennai as a Customer Service Associate with a salary of Rs.13,665/-. I have never ever thought that I would be in such a job. The job helped me to set new goals for life. I will construct a house for my parents in future.

K. Anusha, is from Rayanapadu located in Vijayawada rural mandal of Krishna District. My father, K. Dasu is a daily wage labour and my mother is a home maker. My father was unable to pay college fee. Fighting all odds, I completed Intermediate.

After that I was in search of jobs to help my poor family. Later I came to know about the SEEDAP Retail Training Programme through my friend. I joined the programme with an aim to get a job.

At the beginning of the training, I was unable to to speak a word but later I acquired exceptional communication skills. After completion of training, I attended an interview conducted by the Unlimited Group, Vijayawada and got selected to work as a Retail Trainee Associate with a salary of 13,191/- and other incentives.

My Name is S. Ganga Rani, I am from Takkoli village, Ponnavolu Mandal of Kadapa district. I am 22. My family is dependent on agriculture for earning a living.

After completion of my studies, I started looking for further educational training programs to enhance my skills. I came to know about D.P. Foundation Society who offer training to the unemployed rural youth under DDU-GKY programme. I visited the training center and was highly impressed with the infrastructure. I immediately took admission in Accounts Assistant Using Tally course.

During the three months course, I learned the both domain and non-domain course skills. After completing the course, I went through and cleared the assessment for obtaining a certificate.

I got a job in Samsung Company as a Sales Promoter cum Cashier. I am earning presently Rs. 8000/- per month. I am very happy because now I am financially independent and able to support my parents.

I am highly thankful to SEEDAP and D.P Foundation Society. My parents are very happy and are feeling proud of me with my achievement.

Ramesh Inumula is from a remote village of Vizianagaram district, AP. He was one of the 15 participants who got selected to be trained as Software Developer by NavGurukul, Bangalore. Upon successful completion of the training, he got placed as an SDE-lin Uno Simple Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Vizag .
